The National
Motorcycle Patrol (NMP) is an all volunteer, non-profit organization
providing on-course first aid at motorcycle racing events from club
to international levels. Identified by our blue
shirts (formerly red) with NMP logo,
the Patrol works the turns at road races and motocross events, and
sweeps the courses of enduro and hare scrambles events.
Since its inception in 1971, the NMP has evolved into a well equipped,
highly skilled group of individuals whose training ranges from advanced
first aid providers, to paramedics, RNs and doctors.
The NMP is supported by the generous donations of individuals, clubs,
race promoters, cycle parks, and motorcycle rider organizations.
The NMP supports AFM, AMA, and FIM road races at Infineon (formerly
Sears Point), Thunderhill, Buttonwillow and Laguna Seca race courses.
The NMP supports international, national, and regional enduros, hare
scrambles, motocross races, and cross country events.
